The School Garden Project was started nearly two years ago with a single raised bed, a few hands-on lessons, and some very modest goals.  It has grown since then to include raised beds for every grade level, a Ramapough native garden, and a full curriculum that reaches across all content areas.

Our November taste test at Erskine was grapes. The children sampled red, green, and black grapes. Red grapes were the winners of the taste test.

Our November taste test at Cooper was sweet potatoes. The kids tried the vegetable and then voted "Yes, I like them" or "No, not so much". There were 111 votes for Yes and only 32 for No. Amazing?  No.  Why not make or buy some sweet potato fries for your kids. They really loved them!
